Component Protection Removal & Component Adapt (SVM)
Many Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and SEAT control modules are locked to the original vehicle from factory using Component Protection. When fitting a used module from a donor car, this protection prevents the unit from working until it is removed and the new module is correctly adapted to your vehicle.
This service performs Component Protection removal and component adaptation via SVM (Software Version Management) at dealer level, the same method used by main dealers.
