This unit is a direct replacement for the factory glovebox-mounted infotainment unit, with Component Protection already removed and ready to install. You can use your existing screen, so there is no need to replace or upgrade your display. Once installed, you will gain full access to Volkswagen App-Connect, enabling Apple CarPlay and Android Auto directly through your infotainment system.
